Nice Brazilian restaurant with tasty food, fair price, and no frills. This is a typical self-service buffet type of restaurant which is very common in Brazilian communities in Newark-NJ, Astoria-NY and many other locations. You make your plate, weigh and pay about $10 per pound. My feijoada plate from the attached picture had a little less than a pound so I paid around $9 which is a great deal especially if you compare to other restaurants in the area. The restaurant is somewhat small, simple, but there are enough tables for everyone even during lunch hours. Staff is friendly, they give you privacy to pick your food without anyone bothering you, food is tasty and the variety is ok. I wish they had Brazilian barbecue similar to other restaurants in the area but I canβt really complain because the food and price were great. Compared to other Brazilian restaurants in the area this place has a big advantage because the process is very simple. Other restaurants such as Casa Nova, Cantinho Mineiro, DelΓcia de Minas also offer a buffet option but their process is very complicated. They have a prix fixe option for a set price and then if you add meat itβs a different price, if you want t
